What is GB/T 17643-2011 and GRI-GM13?
GB/T 17643-2011 is the latest Geomembrane standard in China(2021). GRI-GM13 is the international standard. GRI stands for Geosynthetic Research Institute.
There is not much difference between Chinese and international standards in terms of testing items. Due to the late development of synthetic materials in China, most of the standards in China refer to international standards. However, one or two domestic indicators are low, and the update is lagging behind.
